Framing Your Art

When buying my Watercolor paintings for your home, remember that matting and framing adds to the dimensions. You can purchase a very affordable 5" by 7" original watercolor, and the framed painting can be 11" by 14" or larger. You may view my original paintings section here. After you have your painting, picking the correct frame and matting is very important. You want to make your piece of Art stand out! Adding a thin color mat under a thick white mat frames the subject nicely.
this 6" by 6" original watercolor
becomes 12.5" by 12.5" with the mats

Belle of the Ball, 8" by 10" watercolor print
Becomes 15" by 17" framed

weekends 5" by 7"
matted becomes 11.75" by 13.5"

Oh Laura, I love the way you help us visualize!!! Such a good idea to see paintings framed and matted. It adds another whole dimension!! Love the "Weekends!" xo Cait
