Happy Fourth of July Laura! I remember lots of great firework shows in Richmond. My favorite was at the lovely park between the Nickel (Dime) Bridge and the Fan. Right now I can't remember the name of the park but it has a big fountain and there is a little pond with paddle boats. I think I remember it correctly. It would always be so darn hot. I took my first born on year with several girlfriends and their babies and we had the babies in those sling chairs and we were fanning ourselves waiting for the show. Bryant Park? Is that correct? I love it down on the Bay too. Anyway, I'm sure there are lots of other great places.

Happy 4th to you too! My husband took some extra days off, and we're just going to hang out at home... on the porch if it stopped raining!

good scrab for gift and nice post for you friend!!
The blue in this is stunning! I didn't think I could want to get to the beach anymore than I already do, but this did it.
Love the way your painting brightens up my blog... I'll be sad when the giveaway is over.
Happy 4th!
