Day 1 ~ A Painting a Day

Join me during the month of January for my Painting a Day challenge,
and receive a free watercolor print from my shop!
My first painting is a sweet topiary.
To qualify: Comment on at least 10 out of 30 paintings this month, and that's it. I will mail the print (of your choice) from my Etsy shop at the end of the month. Happy New Year!

I like the very loose and free technique you used for the table and the more controlled watercolor technique for the topiary. Beautiful!

Happy New Year!

Love the shadowy green on the impressionistic table underpinning the sprightly-reaching life of leaves atop a solid red pot. Softly bright and cheerful!

This topiary would look great in a sun room. You do such nice work and am proud to own one of your pieces.

My friend had topiaries as her centerpieces at her wedding. I got to bring one home and I LOVED it but the aphids got it. I was so sad. This is one I could keep alive and cherish forever.

I love the simple shape and lines of topiaries. They may not be as colourful as flowers, but they're beautiful in their own right :-)

Oh, I wish I had realized you were doing this sooner! You are such a great support on my (sort of new) blog, and it would be such an honor to have one of these bright lovelies hanging in my home.

Your paintings are really quite lovely. I don't know exactly how to describe what I like about this one, but it's somethng to do with the colors and also the flow of form.
