Okay, Laura! THIS is MY favorite! Quite stunning in it's simplistic beauty, it brings back warm memories of my late mother who was so proud of the poppies she grew all around her house! Brings a smile as I remember. Thank you for that! ~karen

I got a thing for flowers but Oh How I love Poppies! When I was young my mother had a few in her garden. Poppies remind me of her and all of the gardening she use to do. LOVE THIS ONE!

*be still my heart*

I adore this painting. It makes me think of the field of poppies in The Wizard of Oz.

"I remember red poppies, wild behind the school house
I didn’t want to be there, but I loved to watch the poppies" by Marilyn Buck

Poppies are very usual in my country, when Spring comes they appear everywhere, there are fields full of those beautiful reddish flowers, there are also children games about poppies. They are very beautiful, as well the ones in your painting, simple and stunning!
