Connections, Original Watercolor by Laura L. Trevey
What a statement! Deep rich colors dance around the paper...It is a full sheet painting (22" by 30"), and looks excellent floated on top of a white mat. See additional photo.
I had so much fun painting this one!
I placed certain circular objects on the watercolor paper, and then painted with thick color around them. After I pulled the objects off, a day later, I then began painting more layers of color on top.
Can you guess what the circular shapes were that I used?
Just for fun, I will send everyone, with the correct answer, a 4 pack of notecards of your choosing!
You have to be a follower :) Purchase the cards through my Etsy shop, and I will refund you 100% minus the shipping :) Giveaway ends Tomorrow 4/17/09 at 12:00pm

Niftyknits ~~ You are on the right track, but think larger ~~ the painting is almost 2 feet by 3 feet :)

Hmmm - Even though I'm too late, I'm gonna guess anyways - I think it looks like you may have used a shotglass, some bowls, a vase and a cup.

And I'm sure I'm wrong, but I wanted to guess. Could you let me know what they actually are?

Also - I love this one. I love the way the light and dark alternate!
